A little over 3 months until I leave for college and already I'm setting up for my absence.

and I have shared a room for almost 10 years now, starting with our previous two houses. Our current room is small, and it seems like no matter how much stuff we get rid of, it's just as crowded. I came up with a brilliant plan though! In our house, we never get rid of beds because we always have brothers and sisters visiting for Holidays; I'm now going to be counted among the Christmas and Summer visitors. So I thought we should put my bed-mattress on a sliding-cart-thingamajig so that it can be stored under Coro's bed wen I'm gone and during the day.
Unfortunately, this involves cleaning the stuff under both of our beds that has piled up.
It's weird, having to think ahead to what I want to bring with me, what I can throw away, and what I want to store away for when college is over.
Coro and I have put a lot of things on our walls. Coro mostly puts up drawings, I had put up pieces of wrapping paper, theater tickets, cards, gum wrappers, pieces of school projects, newspaper clippings, and another memories. In a ft of a bad mood a few weeks ago, I tore down almost everything. If I was thinking right, I would have made a scrap book to put everything in, but I'm happy it's gone, it's made it easier to let go of things that I know I don't need, I don't want to cut memories down to pieces of paper.
Today, I threw away something, and I was really proud that I threw it away, because it was really recent, and usually I hold on for several months; it was a piece of paper someone at school had given me "for my birthday" as a joke. There were a few scribbles on it, they probably expected me to throw it away that day, but I kept it for almost two weeks. It was fun while it lasted, but I don't want to be a pack-rat. I think the only things I'll keep forever are my toys, hats, and the letters I've received; I still have letters from when I was six years old.
Haha, I feel so sentimental and dramatic, but in a good way, like I'm happy about everything; honestly life has been really good lately.
Art update: I've started drawing a really cool picture, I swear, it'll probably be one of the best things I've ever drawn but don't hold me to that, I'm not even finished with the line art)! I'm really excited!
